The Place I Go

The Places I Go is an ongoing photo series that focuses on my hometown and the people I grew up with. As a transracial adoptee in a small Wisconsin town, my sense of home and family has always been uniquely different. Through analog photography, I explore my hometown, capturing present-day moments that echo my past and personal memories. These photos serve not only as a personal archive but also as a roadmap to my upbringing, illustrating my journey of understanding my adoption and my connection to a place where I wasn’t originally from.
